As we have discussed in the past, Odyssey Resources is a Vietnam based company that prepares Australian tax and accounting documentation for accountants and advisers wishing to outsource this work. Odyssey is run by David Carter, an Australian that moved to Vietnam and established this business. I have attached David’s contact details and an information document regarding Odyssey.
A few months ago our company did a review of all the outsourcing companies we could find that provided Australian tax and accounting services. Upon completion of the review only 1 appeared to suit all our criteria, including low cost, already has extensive experience in SMSF work, have strong systems and processes to protect client data and had already been used by accountants we know and received positive feedback.
We were then fortunate to have 2 accountants we know travel to Vietnam to review Odyssey’s operations in person to ensure reality matched their story and the accountants provided a positive report.
